I have an Access 97 database with a linked SQL table. The SQL table has an autonumber field as the primary key field.

When the user enters data on the form in Access and then tabs to the sub-form, all of the fields in the main form change to "#Deleted". I can pull up the table and the record was in fact added to the table. But because Access thinks the record has been deleted, the user cannot continue to enter data in the sub-form.

This error does not occur every time the user is entering data.

If anyone has any information on this issue, it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks,
Steve

I think the problem occur when two user entering data in the table because of the primairy field
It's the only time I have seen something like this
if it's that you can create another table on access to store the value and after make the update
if it's not the problem mail me with the exact problem I try to resolv it
Regard
Flany
