If you rightclick TABLES in Access, you have an option to LINK TABLES... If you do this you can have SQL-Server tables acting as local Access tables...
I guess that should do the trick... This is not a bug - it's an undocumented feature...

Oh yeah:
You should set up a DSN in ODBC-Datasources that connects to the SQL-Server in question.
After doing this, you should link the tables - select ODBC Databases as the filetype. This is not a bug - it's an undocumented feature...

Sorry for the long delay in replying. I have been trying out both ways, creating an odbc connection and linking the tables through the odbc in access.
For some reason I cannot connect to the database in asp. Is there a way to specify a password for linked tables because I believe this could be the problem.
