I just installed and configured a second Symposium Web Client 4.5 application server, running on Windows 2003 server standard edition and all applications are working properly.

My question is - how do I back-up ONLY the data (users, partitions, access classes and report groups) under Access and Partition Management from my original SWC 4.5 applications server, also running Windows 2003 server standard edition, and then restore it to the new application server that I just configured?

Please let me know the procedure on how to copy and paste the Access and Partition Managementn data files. Thanks in advance for your help.

Access and Partition Data is stored in ADAM.

Check page 963 of Nortel Networks Symposium Call Center
Web Client Planning, Installation, and Administration Guide
Product release 4.5/SU05 Standard 4.0 November 2004

New version of this document is available (Dated March 2006) and it might be a different page.

Checked the manual and found one that refers to to ADAM instance files located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft ADAM\instancel

Is the path describe above the location of the Access and Partition Data only. Please advise. Thanks

Yes, C:\Program Files\Microsoft ADAM\instance1

Make sure you have "1" (number one) at the end, and not "l" (L) or |
