Access and Groupwise Create E-mail form

I would like to collect data to several different employees and I noticed in access 2007 external data there is now a tab to collect data but when i click on create e-mail it only wants to use Outlook for this function. We currently use Groupwise.
Is there a way to use groupwise and bypass Outlook?
Any ideas would be great.
 
I am still using Access 2003. As a hunch have you tried making sure that Groupwise is the default mail program?

In Internet Explorer select Internet Options from the Tools menu. On the programs tab ensure that Groupwise is slected as the E-mail program.
