I want to utilize Access (since it's free with our host) to hold some content of a website. This way the staff can update content through ASP code I write without having to know HTML or upload files. The database would simply hold some of the pages content.

Has anyone had experience with Access-Web interaction? Any comments?

Access is fine for delivering dynamic content to low hit sites. It has a concurrent users limitation which you should be aware of which means the more hits your site gets, the more likely Access is to fall over.

I'd say if you have more than around 1,000 hits/day then start thinking about a different database. Also, try to close and kill all your database connections as soon as you can.
