I have an Access application with 81 tables behind it. I need to find a way to make this accessible via the web. My plan is to transfer the database to MS SQL, but I want to use the existing Access frontend via the web. Is there a way to separate the application from the Access database?

thanks

Mac: We faced the same problem. We uploaded the Access tables onto a SQL Server (after a few months of OLE DB connectivity) and abandoned our front end to rebuild in the new "dot NET" forum. It is powerful, and has a ramp time of about 200-300 hours. If you're going to stay with VB you need to start building your front end with VB.NET (ASP.NET on the web).

I have a complete web site that runs on dot NET that I built with NotePad (so it combines the code behind with the HTML) if you'd like a copy.

The site is at:
Dot NET is very versitle and have found, especially in charting, much more flexibility over VBA.
