Hi Pple,
Need some pointers on this...
I have converted a MS Access 97 VB application to MS Access 2002 using the database utility in the tools menu. After doing that, all seems ok at the forms/queries side. But at the reports, I discovered that while the main report's textboxes are displaying data, all the subreports are not showing any data!! They are doing fine in access 97.

Is there any settings that I need to activate in 2002 before subreport can work properly?

Hope someone can shed some lights...many thanks in advance!

Are the link master child properties set correctly?

Hi
I'll try to input the master/child link even though it is not used in version 97.

Further investigation shows that when I execute the query meant for the subreport, it did not show any record too. The query does not recognise the criteria if it is set as [REPORTS]![INVOICE]![INVNO] where [INVOICE] and [INVNO] is the main report and textbox. When I set the criteria (at design view) to actual value, records are generated.

How can I make criteria recognise [REPORTS]![INVOICE]![INVNO] as getting the value from that textbox in the main report?
Or do I need to rewrite it in a different way for version 2002? If so, what is the correct way?
By solving this, think the subreport should be able to show the records.

Hope to get some help. Many Thanks again.

Access 97 used Link Master Child properties like more recent versions. I think all you need to do is set the properties to the INVNO.
