Hi,

Is it possible to link to a SQL Server view via an Access 97 form? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Absolutely.

If you link Access to the SQL server, Access will discover your database's views as well as its tables. Once linked, the views will behave more or less like tables, so you can base queries, forms, reports, etc. on them.

The only "gotcha" is that views don't have unique column or primary key constraints, so during the linking process Access will prompt you to specify a unique column for each view.

If you don't specify a unique column you won't be able to update any data via the linked view (assuming the view is upadateable in the first place).
