ACCESS 97....saving error!

I have 3 users accessing and saving to Access97 on the network. Usually, multiple users can access and save to Access97 simultaneously. As of late, a strange error started occuring when a 2nd user tried saving changes to a 'form' or 'report' that was already being accessed by a 1st user. The 1st user would have to exit before the 2nd user would be able to save his/her changes. This error occurs EVERY time 2 users are accessing a given database.

Any ideas of whats goin on, any suggestion?
