I am working with a secured Access 97 database on Windows 98. Users login to the front end which resides on their individual machines and it accesses a back-end stored on a network drive. Several users, on a random basis, receive a 3033 error which says they do not have permission to access the front-end file that they have open at that moment. Once they close the database and re-open it, the message does not re-appear for days or weeks at a time and they can continue their work uninterrupted.
We are unable to duplicate the error through testing and must wait for it to occur. Any suggestions to address this will be welcome.
Thanks.
