I have an Access 97 "upfront" database that is accessed by multiple users across my network. This file is actually a Window into a SQL 2000 database that has the data. The Access file is on a Windows 2000 server. Periodically, something is causing the file to become corrupted (illegal operation, memory error occur when open of the file is attempted) and I can't isolate the problem. To correct it I can restore a good copy of the Access database over top of the corrupt one, but I would like to stop it from happening since it is many times a day and therefore very annoying. Any ideas would be very much appreciated!
