In my business, I've been tasked with developing a query or code in Microsoft Access (currently using 97 but upgrading to XP/2002 at the end of the year) which will allow calculation of cycle time based only on business days.
I have code which calculates it pretty well for a straight start to stop date range, but the Powers That Be want to carve out "pend" time, which is time spent waiting for answers from outside the company. "Work" time and "pend" time are stored in two separate tables, and one piece of work can be pended multiple times.
What I've tried so far doesn't work. Any tips out there on doing this?
Thanks for any help you can give me!
