I work at a hospital and I realize this is a very generic question. Many end-users are creating their own Dbs and saving them on shared Novell drives for their departments. These end-users/developers seem to be having some fairly consistent "odd" problems. Most often reported are "Jet Engine cannot locate Db -- check the path" type errors. Does anyone have any info re: problems with Access Dbs on shared Novell drives? Thanks very much!

We have databases on a novell network with driveletters as well. No problem. Does everybody have enough user rights to access the databases?

I am told by our Novell Admin that they should have full rights if they can open the Db... so I don't think that's it. Keep in mind, no one is splitting their Dbs - it's all out there. Most don't even have passwords on the front end much less user level security. Could that be a contibuting factor or the source of the problem?
