I am trying to use an Instr as part of the 3rd argument
or condition of a Dlookup but cannot get the syntax to
work right. Has anyone had any luck doing this?

Thanks,
Keith

No problem
First create a query which has the Instr function as a calculated field. Then use DLookup on the query using this calculated field in the criteria argument(the third one)

Thanks! I'll give it a shot.

-Keith
