Access 97 Import Problem

I have an Access 97 program which needs to import data from Foxpro 2.6 This program had been working fine for a long time until recently. Once we hit the update button, Access crashes with the following error message.

Unhandled exception in MSACCESS.EXE (MSXBSE35.DLL) 0xC0000005: Access Violation

This doesnt happen on every machine, some actually work. It does seem to happen more often then not and once it happens it continues.

Anyone have any thoughts??????

If all else fails can you export your Fox db as a delimited or delimited with comma file than suck that file into access.
e.g.

use file.dbf
(save as xxx.txt deli or deli with ",&quot file
