In a mdb I set up, I am trying to set it up as an App. Upon launch it should go to the main switchboard, and the DBase window should be hidden.

In 'Stratup' I have that option checked, and on launch, it brings the Main Switchboard to the front, but the Dbase window is still visible.

This will be a problem as the users will now have access to the Data Tables directly, something I am trying to prevent, because I can see the headaches ahead of me if they start mucking in there.

Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? Many thanks for any help you can provide!

Just make doubley sure that you have the name of your main form in the Display Form: Menu and that the Display Database Window check box is UN-checked. Lloyd Gozzett

Welp...
My main form (Switchboard) is in the Display box, and I've tried it both checked and unchecked, and thgat pesky database window is STILL there.

Anyone know if this is an Access97 glitch or am I doing something wrong?

TIA,
HAYLE
