pls chaeck underadvanced tab of system icon in control panel. click "Environment Variables" and see if TEMP and TMP variables are setup. if they r not, then click New and add the two variables. the values ca be set to C:\TEMP and C:\TMP
under win explorer make sure there r folder with those names, if not create them.
if they exist under "Environment Variables" then make sure the paths mentioned are valid
