You probably asking why is he still using Access 95? Well its certainly not by choice and it has cause me lots of heartache so far. I am simply trying to attach tables from our SQL Server using the password and username entered into a logon box. I can attach the tables fine but need a way of detaching them when the application closes. Can you please tell me if I can do this from an APPLICATION.CLOSE event type thing. How do I get access to this event as withevents dont work unless it is used in a class module which you cannot create using access 95
