My company is moving to Office 365. And I have it... Hate it so far too over Office 2016.

That aside it seems that large datasets involving update queries in particular are causing database file corruption.

Has anyone experienced similar or not with 365? As usual with a large corporate environment I am left guessing if it is the product, the patch level, or other installed products.

And how do we know that an office 365 issue in 5 years is for a current or previous version? I am irritated as it just seems Microsoft continues to obfuscate communication more and more.

I was pushed into Office 365 and luckily haven't had that experience yet, though I heard about it. Like you, prefer 2016. My experience is that some things have slowed down considerably particularly noticeable when using vba to interact with MS-Outlook from MS-Access. In case you haven't seen this article from last year, maybe it might help?

Unfortunately I am insulated from being able to see anything patch wise...
Although that machine does have 6 logical cores. I know that more than 4 can kill performance... Set affinity to one core... ran fine.
