Access 2K forms GUI problem and free memory

Does anybody know why an Access 2K form would display field contents in bold and the background of button captions as white. It alternates between a normal looking form and that while navigating from record to record. And then when I leave the form I get the error "There isn't enough free memory to update the display." I have updated to SR1a and that didn't fix it. Could the form be corrupted even though I did the Application.SaveAsText / LoadFromText to try to recover the form?

What are the ForeGround and BackGround values of the controls?

I kept on getting this and found no solution. What I eventually did was write the thing in 97 and convert it to 2000.
I wouldn't mind a solution. Looks like a big using up resources and not releasing them type bug.

The reason for this behaviour is neither ACCESS 97 or 2000 but lies in the GDI Heap memory management failure(see USA ACCESS ENCYCLOPEDIA on Article G3 for the details and the solutions).

i can believe that. I generally use NT4 workstation, which is reasonably crash free, and Access 97. My Access 2000 is on a Win98 pc, so it may well be win98 and not Access. Pretty poor either way Peter Meachem
