I just started to use ms access 2007. I discovered myself and talked to other users that there is a build in Office security. By default he disabled a number of (basic) functions. Like using an update query or a FileCopy function in VBA. You can easily disabled this manually, but you need to do this over and over again. Can we disabled this security in an option permanent. They told me this is quit simple in ms access 2003 version but don't know how to do this in ms access 2007 ?

tx and regards,

Is your db in a trusted location ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Its a simple db developed on the pc where it is on. Can we stop this ? Can you set your DB as trusted or something like that.

I found a good description related to this subject on msdn
"Security Considerations and Guidance for Access 2007".
