I have recently learned, to my surprise and also to my delight, that you can package an application in Access 2007 using the Access Developer Extensions that you can download for free.
I paid a LOT of money for Office 2000 Developer and Office 2002 (XP) Developer. Now, apprently it's free in Access 2007.
I like what I see so far. It appears that 2007 changes the extension so that it will open up in Runtime version regardless if the user has full Access.
I protect my app. with .mde, Shift ByPass disabled, Code Password protected and I can set it to expire on a date certain.
Has anyone had any problems with Access 2007 Developer?
Has anyone been able to get around the .accdr extension?
Thanks.
