I've got fairly large app, with a back end database of about 500Mb. When I run any form none of the dlookup fields fill in and the "calculating" message appears on the status bar and just stays there. If I click on one of the dlookup fields it fills in right away. If I click on Windows Start button all the field fill in right away. It's like Access is doing a huge amount of back end processing until I interrupt it by clicking and then it fills in the form. If I move to a new record the same behaviour starts again. This happens under new Vista PCs, but not under XP PCs or upgraded XP to Vista PCs. Anyone run into anything like this? David
