I am trying to use the Access2007 package solution to create an MSI so I can distribute my Db and also include the runtime.
My problem is some of the related files are in sub directories and the using the wizard doesnt seem to allow this. Is there a way around the problem or is there another packger tool that I can use
The layout I require on the destination machines is:
c:\DbName\DbName.accdr
c:\DbName\DbNameData.accdb
c:\DbName\DbReadMe.txt
c:\DbName\Images\DbIcon.ico
These four files do not create an issue as the wizard will allow them, however I cant have a file structure any deeper, and that is what I require. I would also like to have files located like this :
c:\DbName\Images\Staff\Person1.jpg
c:\DbName\Images\Staff\Person2.jpg
c:\DbName\Images\Sites\Site1.jpg
c:\DbName\Images\Sites\Site2.jpg
c:\DbName\Images\Maps\Map1.jpg
c:\DbName\Images\Maps\Map2.jpg
Of course as always your help is most appreciated.
Thanks
