Can anyone tell me how to insert (link) pictures into an access 2007 database without making it bloat. I understand that this problem which blighted 2002, 2003 etc has now been resolved in 2007. Is this correct?? Many thanks Mark

I can't say for 2007 if that has been fixed. But one way is to only store a link to picture in the table and store the pictures on a drive.

I tried to have patience but it took to long! :) -DW

Even in Access 2000 it was possible to store pictures into the database as long as you wrote your own code to serialize the data, rather than use the "automatic" way (as seen in the Northwind database). A search for the GetChunk method in ADO may be the way to start.
