Hi,

Does anyone know how to get a Date Picker field in Access 2007 as you can in Access 2003? I know you can set an option on a text field in Access 2007 to do this but as far as I know the field has to be bound. I also would prefer not to use the ActiveX calendar control.

Thanks for any help.

Hi there,

Not sure if this is what you mean...but I just added a text box control to an unbound form and in the control's Properties, I set it's Format to Short Date. The date picker then appears along side the text box.

Hope this helps.

Peter.

Thanks. My problem was that I had my date field formatted for a specific input mask (99/0000... etc.)in the property box. Once I got rid of that input mask, it worked OK. Thanks again.
