After my computer did a Windows Update on 20-Mar-2014, access 2007 would crash when I opened a form in design view. After trying the usual things, compile, compact repair, create new db and import objects, nothing worked. I found this link and it suggested to Run the Office Diagnostics. I did that and that process found something and fixed it. So far, all is well again. Here is the link in case it is of use.
