I know this is about Microsoft Access, but I think the problem is Server related... We are running approximately 300 stations (Mix of Xp and W2K), connected to a Windows 2000 Server.
The problem is that access databases, used by pupils are losing data when open... Tables go missing, and now and again, all the field names in an open database become a series of '??????'... Only seems to happen on XP stations, it appears that after a while the server loses connection with the database and doesn't reconnect, hence is says network error when trying to save, yet connections to public drives etc remain okay.

Any suggestions / Ideas appreciated. Thanks.
