Hi, I have a question about versions. Right now I am using Acess 2003, and am storing my database so that its using the Access 2000 file format. Is there any advantages to saving it as a 2003 file, are there new features not availabe in the 2000 format?
Thank you,
Michael Kohler

I asked this question recently, and I think the conclusion was that there were no real advantages to using the 2003 format. Especially if you are in an environment where some users could still be running access 2000 (because 2003 format will not work with 2000). I would think that keeping it in 2000 format is your best bet (not sure why that is the default, but I bet there is a good reason)

Good Luck,

Alex

Thanks, I think I will keep it in 2000 format. There are people I need to distribute it to, and I'm sure they don't have 2003.
