I have an Access application we have been using for years, originally in Access97, converted to 2003 a couple of years ago. I recently made changes, adding a new report, along with other minor changes. When exiting the application by doing:
Application.Quit acExit
The application closes, but the Access shell stays open. The only way to close it, is by going to the Task List, and doing an End Task on it. This does not happen on my PC, but when I install it on other peoples PC's, they experience this problem. I've tried compiling, and compact and repair, and the same thing happens. This access application connects to DB2 on the mainframe using IWAY, previously EDA ODBC. We have been doing this for years without seeing this issue before.
Thanks for any suggestions.
