I am creating a table from a query based on a data from a SQL 2000 linked table, whose properties cannot be changed. Everything looks fine when the table is created, and during the fixed width conversion to text file. When the text file is created, the field has the correct data, but then a decimal and two zeroes are appended to that field. Any ideas on how to fix this to export to the correct format? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

I can't reproduce that issue. Even when I create a column as Single data type with 2 decimal places, the output of integer values of that column remain as they should. No decimal places or trailing 0's.

If you could tell me what the column typ eis and the properties, it might help.

Hi,

Can't you use FORMAT in your query to filter out the decimals?
