In All database I can not run, edit or create new reports.

I have set macro security level to low.

Can this be DAO problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated as all dataabase will not operate.

Thank you any help

Hi Assets,

I have seen that same behavior in the past.

Can you create and run a report in another Access mdb file on the same PC.

If you can create a report in another database, then perhaps something has gone wrong in your database. If so, then I would create a blank, new database and import everything from the problem database.

If you can not create or run a report in another database, then I suggest that you re-install MS Access and run the lastest MS Service pack update.

And, as Dhookom said, make sure you have a printer installed and set as a default.

Hope This Helps,
Hap...

thank for the replies.
1 yes checked if have printers installed (all reports were on screen only, when they worked.

But populating word documents and printing them from access (VBA) works.
2 No all database have same issue. Can not open, run or start new ones. Has the last updates and have run repair and maintenance a few times.

BUT NOW it a global issue I tried 2 other PC one with someone else logged in and I tested the third. same issue no report will work in any databases.

I didn't ask if you had printers installed. I was asking if you have "a default printer defined in the Windows Control Panel". Try setting different printers as the default.

Duane yes there were printers in the windows control panel and if you selected either of them as the default printer it gave this problem. But if you used the PDF as the default printer it worked.

I uninstalled the printer this time I also uninstalled the driver for one to test if this was the problem. Then reinstalled the driver and printer and it worked. Strange the only problem was reports, everything else was fine. So getting everyone to uninstall driver. I do not want to go around to 50 machines if people do not use access. The problem can about when the server was changed.

Thans for you advice.
