Hello,

To begin with I have one user or a should say one PC running windows XP SP2 with Access 2003, all service packs installed, and cannot print from access. The "No Printer" message is displayed when you move over the cursor over the print icon... This application clearly doesn't see any printers whatsoever... All other office applcations, including all applications has no issues printing to this printer... Below is what I have done already...

1) Switched Printers
2) Restarted Machine
3) Reloaded Access
4) Reloaded Office
5) Reinstalled all networked Printers
6) Changed printer drivers
7) Tried Printing locally
8) Checked that printer drivers are signed and are
9) Created a new access database and opened this first...

All things have failed...

Does anyone else have a method to try to fix this annoying problem.

Thanks

1) Is this a network printer?
2) When you go to file|page setup what is listed in the printer dialog?

You are not alone.

Yes it is a network printer, but I've tried at least 6 differnet network printers and a couple of different local printers... None with success.

I can't go to page setup... Because access doesn't appear to be detecting the default printer... Page setup goes no where.

Unfortunatley I can print from every other application but access... It must be an access problem of some kind. I will look at that microsoft link provided... And see if any of those items work

did you install the print as an admin or as current user?

if installed as admin all users can see the printer.

is the prob. only with reports? reports may have printers assigned to them already
