I have a database that links to an ODBC datasource. The linked table, when clicked MS Access, gives me a message that the connection failed. However, the link tests well though the ODBC Administrator. In MS Access, when I try to make a new link to the ODBC datasoure, it works fine.

to simplify:
1. ODBC Datasource no longer works in MS Access
2. ODBC Datasource tests okay through the ODBC administrator
3. New link in MS Access to the ODBC Datasource works

Normally, I'd just re-create the links, however, I've had to do this 3 times now and I don't want to have to do it again. Also, if this belongs in another forum, let me know
