Access 2003 - Exclusive Access Error

Hi, I have a distributed application that users log into. Some of the users have switched to 2003. Some of these users are now getting the error "you do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes you may not be able to save them later" and they are stuck at this message, unable to login.

Not all users with 2003 are having this issue.

Can anyone help me, point me in some direction for a fix? Thanks!

Fixed it. The Adobe toolbar fix suggested in this thread does the trick, in case anyone else even encounters this:
