I have a friend who has Office 2003 with the Visa oper system on a notebook. She wants to buy a new notebook which will probably be windows 7.

Will her Access 2003 still work?

My brother did the same thing recently and he claims that Access 2003 did not work on win7.

Do you know?
thanks much.

Windows 7 Compatibility Center

Despite approval by the above link I'm always skeptical when it comes to upgrading. Access & windows havn't had one major upgrade without problems. So if your talking about something that works well in prior versions, you may want to delay upgrading. I have a clause in my terms for programming that states [purple]if any client upgrades without my permission ... they do so at their own risk![/purple] My Idea is ... [purple]let everyone else experiment and test with new versions taking care of the problems ... not my clients[/purple]. They'll upgrade when it appears most (if not all) problems are solved. As such my clients are typically one year behind.
