I want to create a simple Login form that the user enters thier username and password. I then (somehow) want to pass this information to our SQL Server to verify the information is correct. If it is, I then would link up the appropriate tables that will be needed.

How can this me accomplished?

Some how, that user information would be stored in SQL so that it can validate table permissions and also it would be saved in Access (no problem with this) so that tracking, etc can be logged by user.

We have a couple of software packages that utilize SQL Server and thier login screen cross-references with the SQL database to see if it is valid. This is basically what I want to do...but with Access.

Any ideas?
