Good morning, all.

I have inherited a huge Access database with many tables, queries, and reports. I have been tasked with deconstructing an existing report and writing up a little essay on how exactly the report gets its information.

The problem I'm running into is that I cannot figure out what queries and tables, specifically, are used on the report. I can go into the properties for the text boxes and other related fields and see the name of columns from a table or query, but I cannot seem to figure out which tables and columns, specifically, they come from.

A little insight on how to get this information would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
TEM

If you display the report properties then the recordsource property will show you what is the underlying query.

Correct then go to Qyeries to look at the querie source in essence you are reverse engineering it.
