I would like to print a couple of different reports as one print job in Access 2000. I have already tried making these two reports sub reports on a master report but was running into all kinds of difficulty.

Any information or ideas are very much appreciated.

As one print job?

Go to the macros tab and create a macro using the built-in stuff.

Step 1 is to print first report
Step 2 is to print second report

Make a button on any form, and assign that macro to run on-click.

Thanks Anne, but I need the printer to spool it as one print job. The reason is because I want this printer to take the order sheet report and the packing list report and staple them together. Unless it sees it as one print job it will treat them seperately and not staple the two reports. I hope this is understandable.

dcompto,

Thanks for the information but it still spools as multiple print jobs.

Hi dgp2,

What problems did you find with using sub-reports?

Enjoy,
Tony

Tony,

It would not print out page headers and footers of the orignal reports in the sub reports. I tried to bring the information that was in the header down to the detail area but it was getting all messed up. Also the page calculations (i.e. 1 of 2) that were in the original reports were saying 0 of 0 when I moved them to the sub reports.
