I have just started with Access and want to create a database for inclusion on a web site.

The database is created, as is the data access page and all works fine on my pc, however when ftp'd to the ISP the data access page still tries to read from the database on c:\my documents. I have edited the html of the data access page so the data source = database.mdb which is on the server but it still tries to look on my C drive!!!! This also happens if I put in the full address
Any ideas please?

I had the same problem. I had to re-insert the data pages from the Insert menu. Then save them to this copy of the database. It is working on my server and everyone on the network is able to use the pages from the intranet site.
