Access 2000 vs. Access 2002

Will Access 2002 application work in Access 2000?

Getting ready to develop an Access application in 2002. User is running Access 2000.

I anticipate employing general VBA and plan to be mindful of the Access 2002 functions while developing the application.

Will running the Access 2002 be seamless to the Access 2002 user?

NO! An Access 2002 application will not work in Access 2000. You can however have Access 2002 believe it is developing an Access 2000 database, then simply target any code for the Access 2000 database. Use Tools\Options\Advances\Default File Format to set it to Access 2000. I'm not sure this isn't what you were trying to say.
