Access 2000 Report Snapshot

I developed a report in Access 2000 that a snapshot is sent out on a weekly basis to a distribution list. There have been several people complain that they are unable to open the report as a ".snp" file. Their PCs have Windows 98 and Office 2000. What could the problem and is there a recommended solution.

when i started my job i had office 2000 and no Access

You need the "Snapshot Viewer" to view the ".SNP" files. This can be downloaded at

http://download.microsoft.com

An option to the snapshot would be, if you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, print the report to a .pdf file. Most people already have the Acrobat Reader for viewing files downloaded from the internet.

It is my preferred method and works great!
