Anyone know whether it is possible to install Access 2000 (from Office 2000 Pro CD-ROM) on my remote Web server using FTP or whatever? And if so, how's it done? Many thanks.

I really don't think it will be possible to install Access over a TCP/IP, FTP or HTTP link.

Why do you want to install Access on the web server? You certainly don't want to run Access on a web server. It is probably illegal. What do you want to accomplish? Terry L. Broadbent

In two words:
Even if you install ACCESS on your web server (possible on a dedicated server) it will NOT work on the clients that are connected with their browsers.

The easiest way to access the MDB files that reside on servers is in using ASP (server side scripts that create HTML pages) or in using advanced ADO programming.

The first solution is to be preferred since it does not require ACCESS to be installed on the client computers.
