Access 2000 closeform/saverecord
Access 2000
I have a form- Registration, that on close, must save the record, because it updates info in a subform for another form - Balance Due.
If you click the X on the tool bar up top, the close window X, everything works fine, Registration closes, and the subform is updated. Voila!
However for ease of keystroke, I wanted to create a button, so I could include it in tab order...but I cannot figure out how to mimic the behavior of the X?
If I have one button, Save Record, and one button, Close Form.
Everything works fine. If I try to combine the events, no matter how I do it, it does not save first. Any help will be appreciated. I am sure I am not getting syntax right.
