Access 2000 Chart Report / Showing chart in design view 2

My memory is truely failing,

How do you get the chart to show in design view rather than the north south malarkey ?

Copy and paste the graph control into a form and set it properties:
Locked: No
Enabled: Yes
Then open the form and double-click the chart. This should "fix" the display.

Then copy and paste the graph control back into the report.

Theres an easier way than that,

I cant remember it exactly but it is something daft
like making a change, go straight to print preview , exit save changes and re-enter in design mode

got enough charts to get through so im sure ill get the combination sooner or later

Got it,

create your report,
save and exit

go back into the report
go to print preview
go file menu save
close the report
re-enter in design view
