Access 2.0 Wizards Problem

The wizards button in my access 2 database won't work. I keep getting the message "Can't Update. Database or object is read only"

It is installed locally on my Pc so there should be no issue with it being locked. I've tried a couple of things to no avail. I have full access to all the wizard mda's and folders.

Can anyone help me?? I loath Access 2

Access 2.0 is not y2k compliant. I suggest upgrading.

other than that - have you recently copied the db from a cd or disk? look at the properties of the file itself (in windows explorer) and see if READ ONLY is checked.
