Acces rights

Hi,

Just freshly installed Pervasive SQL2000i.
When I try to create a new database in the Pervasive Control center i get the following error message:
"Cannot retrieve database names. You do not have sufficient access rights for the operation."
No help found in the documentation.

I know, they told me I had administrator rights, but I don't. That's probably it.

Wasn't it. Still not working.

Are you trying to run the consol from remote (terminal service)? I've had problems with access rights also and I had to be logged on to the server with the administrator user id and password and then login on the pervasive manager consol locally with the administrator user id and password too.
