Acccess Logon Prompt

Hi, i am trying to put together a logon form when access is started, the use must enter his/her name and type in a password (which is checked against a table) if username and password match they are taken to a main page from there they can access different forms etc...

I want to be able to use the username they have entered on most of the forms and check if they have a correct access level to open the form if not an "access denied" message is to pop up..

Has anyone got any example code that will do this??

Why not use user level security? (Assuming you are developing and mdb system)
