It Used to Help, About in every program ever written for the last 15-20 years.
Maybe some of the crazy issues would be resolved if I was on SP1?
like if I am working on a query and click on a table, the ribbon at the top changes to work with tables. But when I click back on the query it stays at table? I have to click the Design button thingy at the top in the ribbon to get back to the query optons, to run it for one?
Or is there a reason?

To get the Access version you are on (including Service Pack info)

1. click on the Round Office Button
2. go down to Access Options
3. on the left side of the dialog that comes up click on RESOURCES
4. You should see the About at the bottom of the list on the right after clicking on RESOURCES
