Acc 2007 Will not save recordsource

I have databases previously created in 2003. When I am in 2007 and try to modify the recordsource of the form it will not save. I click on my ... and open the query developer. I can view the query, but when I return to the form no changes are saved. The workaround is to open the query in sql view, copy the sql string, and then paste the string directly into the recordsource. Anyone see this? Is there a hotfix?

After altering the recordsource, move the cursor out of the recordsource property, for instance to another property in the dialog, then it should "bite".

I don't think it's addressed properly yet.
